Terms of Service

1. Scheduling Photoshoots and Contact Information

To schedule a photoshoot or request any of our services, please email heythere@jarro.ie or send us a message on WhatsApp at +353 85 171 9154.

When getting in touch, please include as much detail as possible, including:

Property address
Required service
Preferred date and time
Estate agent or contact name
Access details
Any special instructions for the shoot

We will reply as soon as possible to confirm availability, the property address, the scope of the project, and the proposed appointment time.

A booking is considered confirmed once both parties have agreed to the appointment details in writing.

2. Booking Confirmation

Once a booking has been confirmed, the agreed appointment time is reserved for your project.

Any changes to the agreed service, property, time, or address should be communicated as soon as possible.

We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a booking where the requested service, timeline, access arrangements, or conditions are not suitable.

3. Property Access and Preparation

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that an authorised representative is available to provide access to the property at the agreed time.

It is also the Client’s responsibility to make sure the property is fully prepared before the shoot. This includes cleaning, decluttering, staging, and ensuring that all requested rooms and areas are ready to be photographed or filmed.

If the property is not ready on arrival, we may still proceed with the shoot based on the condition of the property at that time. Any resulting limitations in the final media will remain the Client’s responsibility.

If no authorised representative is present at the agreed time, we may proceed using the agreed brief and our professional judgement, where access is available.

4. At the Shoot

Your input on site is always welcome, especially when choosing priority rooms, features, or angles.

If no direction is given, we will use our professional skill, experience, and judgement to decide the most effective approach for creating the visual media.

We may move small stray items where appropriate to improve presentation. However, standard shoots do not include full cleaning, bed making, furniture assembly, furniture rearranging, or removal of large items.

All properties are photographed and filmed in their condition at the time of the shoot.

We reserve the right to pause, refuse, or end a shoot if the environment is unsafe, inaccessible, or unsuitable for the agreed service.

5. After the Shoot and Delivery

Once all RAW images and video clips have been captured, post production will begin.

All files will be edited to a high professional standard in line with our style and workflow.

Our standard turnaround is delivery by midnight on the day of the shoot or by early morning the following day, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delivery times may vary for larger projects, more complex edits, virtual staging, floorplans, drone work, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where this happens, we will communicate the updated timeline as soon as possible.

Final photographs will be delivered at a minimum resolution of 2500 pixels, suitable for web and print use.

Final videos will be exported at a minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Revisions

One reasonable round of minor revisions may be included where requested within 3 days of delivery.

Minor revisions may include small editing adjustments that are consistent with the original brief.

Additional revisions, major re edits, changes to the original brief, extra retouching, object removal, virtual staging changes, or requests made after the revision window may incur an additional fee.

7. Rights and Usage

All photographs, video clips, floorplans, graphic designs, and related media created by us remain the intellectual property of Jarro.

Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the delivered media for marketing the specific property and for the Client’s own self promotion in connection with that property.

The Client may also allow the representing estate agent or parent company to use the media solely for the purpose of marketing that same specific property.

The media may not be sold, transferred, sublicensed, shared with unrelated third parties, altered by third parties, or used for any other purpose without our prior written permission.

Third party use, including use by architects, builders, designers, stagers, sellers, buyers, developers, or other businesses, is strictly prohibited unless approved by us in writing.

Any use outside the original agreed purpose may require an additional licence fee.

8. Portfolio and Promotion

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we reserve the right to use the created media for our portfolio, website, social media, advertising, awards, competitions, editorial submissions, and promotional materials.

9. Payment

An invoice will be issued after each appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer or Stripe.

Payment is due within the timeframe stated on the invoice.

We reserve the right to withhold future bookings, suspend ongoing work, or delay further services where invoices remain unpaid beyond the due date.

The Client remains responsible for all agreed fees relating to the booking and any approved additional services.

10. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, please let us know as early as possible.

Any cancellation or rescheduling made within 24 hours of the agreed appointment time will incur a €100 cancellation fee.

If we arrive at the property and the shoot cannot proceed due to lack of access, the property not being ready, or any issue outside our control, a €100 call out fee will apply.

Where weather affects drone work, exterior photography, or any weather dependent service, we reserve the right to reschedule that part of the booking to the next suitable time without applying a cancellation fee.

11. Travel, Parking, and Additional Charges

Any parking fees, tolls, special access charges, congestion charges, or location specific expenses must be disclosed in advance and may be added to the final invoice.

Where a project falls outside our standard service area or involves unusual travel requirements, additional travel charges may apply.

Any extra services requested outside the original booking may also be charged separately.

12. Subcontractors and Team Members

We may use trusted photographers, editors, drone operators, floorplan technicians, or other subcontractors to complete parts of the service.

Where this happens, Jarro remains responsible for the final delivery to the Client.

13. Limitation of Liability

We will always use reasonable care, skill, and judgement in providing our services.

However, we are not responsible for issues caused by matters outside our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, access restrictions, property condition, poor lighting conditions beyond what is reasonably manageable, technical failures beyond our control, or inaccurate information provided by the Client.

Our liability for any claim relating to the service shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where the law provides otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking with us, the Client agrees to these Terms of Service.
